Sorry about not hearing from us, our November letter got lost in cyber space. But we are still here in Durban, and there’s lots happening we want to tell you about. Enjoy this letter over a cup of coffee!
On the ministry side, the interns finished their year at end of November , with about 50 students involved one way or another. We got news in November of another one year team coming , this time with six!
During December , CCC Cote’d Iviore (Ivory Coast) hosted an all-Africa student conference called PAMOJA! Africa, which means together in Swahili. Four students from Durban worked hard during their final exams , and right through their Christmas holidays getting R44 000 together (US$6000) for their flights and expenses. Wow , what a time they had fellowshipping with 1100 students from 30 countries in English and French. We admired their faith, and they are back on campus this year with deeper love for God and a passion to see our continent transformed through developing godly leadership while in college. One of those who went, Anele, has been accepted for a one year internship with CCC in Durban, and seeing God do amazing things as he raises his funds
